How do i book a session?

What is the best age for an heirloom session?
I recommend starting around 6 months, or whenever your baby can sit up unassisted. Any age beyond that is wonderful for heirloom portraits, and there is no age limit.
What should my child wear?
I love clothing that feels classic and timeless and lets your child remain the focus of the portrait. Whites, creams, soft pinks, light blues, and other muted colors photograph beautifully. Think smocking, Peter Pan collars, delicate lace, classic rompers, bloomers, dresses, and other traditional pieces that you can imagine looking just as sweet years from now.
Some of my favorite places to shop for heirloom clothing are Feltman Brothers, Bailey Boys, Strasburg Children, Cecil and Lou, and other small children’s boutiques. I’m happy to share additional recommendations if you’re looking for something particular.
I also have a small, limited collection of clothing available to borrow for sessions. If you’re interested in borrowing a piece, just reach out and I can check sizing and availability.
Where do sessions take place?
Sessions can take place in my home or in your home. I just need a space with good natural light. I’ll bring the backdrop and everything else needed for the session.
Can I have more than one child photographed?
Absolutely! Each child will have their own individual portraits, and siblings can also be photographed together.
What is included in a session?
Your heirloom session includes a 10–15 minute portrait session for each child and 10 finished digital images delivered through an online gallery. You’ll receive 5 images of each child in color and the same 5 images in black and white, for a total of 10 digital images per child.
Do you offer prints?
I believe printing your photographs is an important part of making them truly timeless. Digital images are wonderful to have, but there is something special about seeing your child’s portrait printed and displayed in your home, and eventually passed down.
